Grade 2+ Religious Education (RE) is a class specifically for students who have taken at least 1 year of religious education and anticipate receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion in Spring 2019.
It is a combination of Grade 2 RE and First Communion/First Reconciliation (FC/FR) Sacramental Preparation. Click here for more information on Sacramental Preparation.
Is your child ready for this class?
It is a diocesan requirement that any student requesting the Sacrament of First Communion/First Reconciliation (FC) attends 1 year of religious education before attending a Sacramental preparation course. If your child has attended at least 1 year of religious education classes and seeks the Sacrament of First Communion/First Reconciliation, this is the right RE class for you.
In addition to the RE Fee for this class, there is also a Sacramental Preparation Fee of $50.00.
Children in Grade 2+ follow We Celebrate the Eucharist text.
Grade 2+ meets Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. twice a month.
