The Parish Council is a small group of parishioners who represent the diverse community of St. Anne's Parish. Each Council member is appointed for a 2 year term. Led by our Parish Administrator, the PaC's goal is to support and promote our parish in all its activities, from creating new ministries to scheduling special masses and activites like the annual Parish Picnic.

George Stagno - Chairman (Building Committee)
George has been married to Mary for 46 years. They have tree children and six grandchildren. They have been living in Southborough for 3 years, and lived in Hanover Ma for 35 years. George spent 25 years in the software industry as a manager and Sales Vice president of a 2 billion dollar company. He is also a retired Lieutenant Colonel USAF Reserve and retired high school math teacher. George has in-depth experience in building residential construction garages and additional living space. He has been on Saint Anne's Building committee for 18 months.
Millie Garden - Vice Chair (Spiritual Development & Liturgical Committee)
Millie is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, & friend. She has been married to Jim Garden for 46 years and has lived in Southborough for 43 years. They have three adult children, Jennifer, Dan, and Dave and six grandchildren. She has been active on the Liturgy Committee, Parish Council and Ministry Communion in the past and most recently has been a member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
Monica Auzenne Shay - Secretery (Spiritual Development & Liturgical Committee)
Monica is a native of Southern California where she worked in Movies-for-Television Development for ABC Entertainment, Sitcom Development for Fox Television and in Production for the sketch comedy “In Living Color.” She studied Communication at the University of Southern California, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Creative Writing emphasis from Boston College. She was a trustee for the Summit Montessori School in Framingham for six years where she chaired the Development, Marketing, Strategic Planning and Governance Committees.
Monica is currently a trustee for Suffield Academy in Suffield, Connecticut where her daughters, India and Sophia are students. Monica presently volunteers as the Director of Religious Education, and facilitator of the Prayer, Healing Ministry. She also assists Fr. Romain Rurangirwa of St. Irene’s Church in Carlisle, Massachusetts in the “Healing of the Families” ministry. Monica and her husband, Jim live in Southborough.
Jim McCarthy (Building Committee)
Jim is thrilled to be a part of the Saint Anne Parish Council. He has been married for almost 25 years to Julia. They have been members of the Saint Anne community since they moved to Southborough from Marlborough (Saint Mathias Parish) in 2002. They have two sons, Russell and Devin. Their boys have been active members of the parish from a young age. Both boys were baptized by Father Thirb and, after their First Communion, they both became fixtures on the alter at Saint Anne Masses as Altar Servers. The boys have continued their service as Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers at Saint John's High in Shrewsbury, where Jim is an alumni.
Jim spent his career in the financial services industry. In addition to work and engagement in activities with his children, he has also held numerous volunteer positions with local organizations. His roles have included Treasurer of Pack 26 Cub Scouts Southborough, Treasurer of Troop 92 Boy Scouts, Southborough, President of Southborough Little League and various other roles including coaching youth sports. And of course, he is an avid Boston sports fan with a particular affinity for the Red Sox and Patriots.
Fran Schiebe (Hospitality Committee)
Fran's and her husband have belonged to St. Anne for 39 years. They have two grown children and one granddaughter. She works for a small business in Framingham. Fran had been on several ministries over the years. The main Ministry she serves is Altar Server scheduling and training. Fran has been helping them for 15 years, since her own children started.
Arlene (Molina) Kutzko (Hospitality Committee)
Arlene was born and raised in the Philippines. She migrated to the US about 20 years ago and has been married to Joseph since September 14, 2000. Arlene and Joseph are the parents of 4 children: John (New York), Bennylyn, Walter and Sophie. Arlene holds a BA from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila Philippines. Arlene is multilingual, speaking English, Tagalog (native Filipino) and several other dialects from her country. Currently Arlene is a fulltime housewife, engaged primarily with raising her two youngest children Walter and Sophie.
Arlene co-founded the Filipino Apostolate with Fr, Conrad (retired former pastor of Saint Anne’s) and her husband Joseph in December of 2014. Since that time the group has grown from approximately 20 to more than 200 members. The Filipino Apostolate meets every third Sunday for Mass followed by potluck and family fun. Arlene would like to encourage all of the parishioners of Saint Anne’s and visiting friends, to come and join us for Mass, have a meal and some fun. The Mass is celebrated primarily in English, with a little Tagalog of course, but all are always welcome.
Tom Gittins
Tom and his family have been attending St Anne’s Parish since 1990. Tom is married to Kathy and works for JDA Software as a Portfolio Manager. Tom and Kathy have 2 daughters. Sarah and Jenny. Sarah recently graduated from Vassar College and is working in Manhattan, NY. Jenny graduated from Marian High School in Framingham and attends Siena College.
