Last week, the 4th and 5th graders of St. Anne’s parish worked together to prepare a meal for the Our Fathers Table ministry in Marlborough, and then served it on Thursday evening. The students who participated contributed ingredients, learned to chop, fry and bake, and poured their hearts into preparing food for the hungry. We blessed the food and then shared it with those who come to Our Fathers Table for a nutritious meal. We could not have done it without the help of the teen volunteers, the parents of our students, Joanne Flathers, Jennifer Garden, Regina McAuliffe and MaryEllen Duggan. Our students learned so much and had an enriching experience. We are grateful for the opportunity! Please let me know if you have any questions or need more information. Thank you! -Beth McGonagle and Melissa Shields
Dear Parishioners, We had been running the religious education program without an official DRE for the past few months. After seeing the hard work of Monica Shay as well as her willingness to postpone her Master's program, just for the sake of our religious program, I, with the consultation of Parish council chairpersons and Finance committee appoint her as Director of Religious Education for two years term. Please congratulate her and continue to support her. Fr. Albert
